Uganda - Bukonzo Dream

Uganda love this one: a coffee that tastes like milk chocolate and strawberries from a gorgeous country and a producer that champions economic stability and opportunity. 

Around 300-500 smallholders contribute to each lot of producer Agri Evolve's coffee. The average farm size of these smallholders is 1.5-2.2 acres.

The coffee is partially sun dried and partially machine dried. Agri Evolve have reported that normally they fully sun dry their coffee, however due to a recent influx of rain they have been mechanically drying their coffee to keep more control over the process in the face of challenging weather conditions.

Since 2014, Agri Evolve has grown into the region's largest employer, bringing economic stability and opportunity to the Rwenzori Mountains.
